Infants
(Ages 3-18 Months)
Our infant program introduces Mandarin through gentle exposure to songs, rhymes, and sensory activities. This early introduction promotes language recognition and a natural foundation for bilingual learning.
Toddlers
(Ages 18 Mo. - 2.5 Yrs.)
For toddlers, we build on early exposure with interactive songs, simple stories, and engaging play-based activities. This class encourages early language sounds, social interaction, and motor skills development to spark curiosity.
Preschool

What should I bring for my child?We ask parents to bring labeled supplies specific to their child's age, such as diapers, a change of clothes, a water bottle, and comfort items if needed. For infants, please bring any required bottles or milk, along with labeled feeding instructions.

Does Nihao School accommodate dietary restrictions?Nihao School is a nut-free facility, and we provide a balanced meal plan for all children. However, we have limited ability to accommodate specific dietary restrictions. Parents of children with allergies or dietary needs should consult with the administration to ensure the best possible experience.

What is the illness policy?Children with a fever of 100°F or higher, vomiting, or other contagious symptoms must stay home until they are symptom-free for at least 24 hours without medication. This policy ensures a healthy and safe environment for all children.

How can I communicate with teachers and staff?We use a dedicated parent communication app for daily updates, reminders, and announcements. Parents can also communicate via email or phone for urgent matters. Regular updates, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences are scheduled to discuss your child’s development​.

Is there a way to celebrate my child’s birthday at school?Yes! We celebrate birthdays monthly in the classroom. Parents may bring nut-free treats or goodie bags in line with our food policy. This approach allows all children to feel included and celebrated without disrupting the school day.

What are the attendance expectations?Consistent attendance helps children benefit from the full learning experience. We request families to notify us of any planned absences, and we operate a pay-to-save-your-seat policy to maintain your child’s enrollment, regardless of absences due to vacation or illness.
