It's exercise week at Nihao! We made little cutouts of gymnasts and colored them in.
Gymnastics promotes physical development in children. It provides a safe environment for children to practice skills such as strength, flexibility, coordination, balance, and body control, while also laying a solid foundation for a lifetime of physical fitness.
We also talked about yoga, a form of excercise. We learned many different poses that will keep our bodies in shape.
We also learned some new dances such as the chicken dance. Dancing is another great way to excercise and it also uses a lot of energy!
Finally, here's a workout routine you can try out at home with your kids! Be careful, it looks difficult.
